The TekSoft PROCAM system runs the entire CNC manufacturing process from a PC. Complete CNC part programs can be generated beginning with drafting and design through mill, lathe, punch, plasma, laser and wire EDM tool path generation. PROCAM provides fully integrated solutions for 2D CAD/CAM applications and 3D applications requiring complex surface modeling and machining. TekSoft's PROCAM products are loaded with timesaving features and productivity tools to help you reduce time to market and increase profitability.

Support for hundreds of geometric construction cases including triple tangencies. · Complex features such as cams, gears, and transitions can be generated. Direct printing and plotting using Windows-supported graphics cards and printers. All CAD and CAM entities can be translated, scaled, mirrored and rotated. CAD entities can be trimmed, segmented, filleted, and chamfered. Dimensioning supports aligned and uni-directional linear dimensions, as well as ordinate, baseline, datum, diametric, and radial dimensions. English/metric conversions are made instantaneously. 2D Mill2½ axis milling with automatic roughing and finishing cycles.
· Associative tool paths and machining information allow tool paths to be updated automatically as operation information changes. When using pocketing and profiling routines for roughing and finishing simple or complex parts, part integrity is assured by gouge avoidance checking and correction. Unlimited, user-definable islands are supported. Part features such as ribs and bosses can be represented as islands for cleanup and finish passes. Plasma/LaserSupports plasma, laser, waterjet cutting, torch and knife cutting with nesting and optimization. Tool paths can be generated directly on CAD geometry or offset to the inside or outside of the part.
· Generate parallel, perpendicular, or radial lead-in and lead-out moves. Six profiling corner conditions. Sharp corners along a tool path can be left sharp or automatically smoothed by adding a round or chamfered corner. External corners can be overshot and then approached with a triangle corner cutting technique. · Combination Punch/Plasma/Lasermachines are supported with automatic pre-punched start holes. Optimizing reduces cycle time by sorting tools and determining the shortest tool path. The user has complete control over the tool sorting order with options to sort by tool size,station sequence, auto-indexangle, etc. Micro joint feature expedites programming of shaker parts. Supports nine standard tool shapes and unlimited number of user-defined special tool shapes. Special tools can be used for punching single hits as well as for contouring part edges. · G-code output can be a combination of macros/subroutines or long code with support of canned cycles for linear, grid, arc and bolt hole patterns. Optional ProNest program can be used to generate nesting layouts interactively or automatically.![]()
